Family members’ capacity-building initiatives
SADHANA, through its family member’s capacity building initiatives, aims to support and empower families in providing effective care and support to their disabled members. It helps to enhance the knowledge, skills, and confidence of family members in providing effective care and support to their disabled loved ones. The staff of SADHANA, during their visit to the families, work together with the family members to carry out the rehabilitation interventions, discuss the concerns of the family and explain them to get better clarity on the interventions being carried out.
Working with Individuals
Through the work of community-based rehabilitation workers (CBRWs), SADHANA aims to empower individuals to develop the skills they need to lead fulfilling and independent lives. The CBRWs visit homes to provide demonstrations and hands-on training in rehabilitation interventions, such as self-care, socialization, education, and participation in village events and functions. The workers of SADHANA help the individuals with disabilities reach their full potential and lead meaningful lives within their communities. The workers shares positive stories of individuals who have achieved success with the help of our interventions.
