Our Approach

From its inception SADHANA has been working with the village community and with families who have children or adults with disability to move towards the ideal inclusive community with a Community Based Rehabilitation approach.

There are many players in this enterprise and, to ensure maximum involvement, SADHANA personnel engage with persons at various levels in a Community Based Approach.

• At village community level, there are activities involving the villagers as a whole or specific service providers, while other activities are taken ahead by collectives of persons with disability.
• The other crucial level is the family level, within which the individual is nurtured and empowered.
• SADHANA engages directly with District level administration to ensure optimisation of service delivery, and also networks with like-minded organisations, at District, State and National level to achieve its aim.
