Where We Are

Presently SADHANA is involved in the entire Baripada Block (11 Gram Panchayats) and six wards of Baripada Municipality as well as 6 Gram Panchayats of Suliapada Block, covering a total population of 1,21,082.  The people of the area live in small scattered villages. Adivasis (officially known as Scheduled Tribes – ST) make up 48% of the population, the main tribes being Santals and Bhumija. The proportion of scheduled caste people (SCs) is very small, amounting to 7%, while the remaining 45% are general caste with a predominance of OBCs (Other Backward Castes). The average family size is 6 – 7 members. In the course of SADHANA’s work since 2000, we have identified a total of 1660 persons with disability in our area of operation.

What People Say

  • My Experience

I was not at all aware of sadhana until i developed sadhana websites......i casually visited the website but i was really touched by their work flow....and thought of lending my hands to them...

  • Sadhana Work

We had a great learning experience of how an NGO is to be maintained, and treated so that it excels in the role for which it was started. Sadhana is an outstanding example of a professionally maintained organization.
